If you want to go out there and secure a good job for yourself, you have to put your best foot forward and impress your potential employer with your knowledge, grades and just let them know that you are the best person out there to get the job done.

The fundamental question is- how do you go about it?

To impress the potential employer you will need to meet them in person, but in today’s job market the employers would only interview you when they know that you have got the potential.

The only way you can prove yourself to be a worthy candidate is through your resume. It is about how you stand out from the crowd with your resume. To stand out among other applicants, you will need a resume that markets your strengths and matches the job.

Resumes are a big part of the profile when companies hire you, and they make sure to scrutinize every bit of your resume. So, it is all the more important for you to have the best resume for yourself. A lot of people find resume-building challenging.

What should you add to make it stand out?

How much information should they disclose?

How much information is too much?

What catches the recruiter's attention?

Especially for Interns and Freshers, here are the five must-haves that you MUST include in your resume!

1. Who are you: Let the interviewer know who you are! Adding this section to your resume will aid you in briefly stimulating the most important information you want the reader to know from your resume.

2. Your professional achievements and future objectives: Any potential employer is only going to hire you when you have substantial records on merit to prove that you are good at what you are applying for! Adding your professional achievements will do exactly that for you.

Furthermore, you must also add your future objectives as it helps the hiring manager align your goals with that of the company!

3. Professional references: Having professional references allow hiring managers to learn about your personality and how you would approach the new position.

They want to know you can do the job and whether your work habits are consistent with your responses in the interview.

4. Action-driven results and statistics: A statistics-based resume highlights your achievements, instead of obscure assignments that are unaccompanied by dependable explanations.

By organizing your resume to be result-arranged, you give the interviewer the chance to quantify your prosperity at past positions utilizing explicit measurements that show what you’ve done, rather than simply determining what you’ve done.

If you have the above mentioned on your resume, you are in all likelihood to secure that dream job that you have always desired.
